ACCOUNTABILITY

We find transparency about the question whether your donation will be spent in conformity with the statutory objectives and the policy plan of the foundation really important. This page contains the annual reports including the annual accounts, the policy plan, the articles of association and the complaints procedure.

POLICY

Since the establishment of the Usher Syndrome Foundation, it has grown from a small family foundation into a professional organisation, which we all can be really proud of. Thanks to the support and the trust of contributors, sponsors and volunteers, this upward trend continues and the activities of the foundation expand. Such a considerable growth also asks for reflection. What can be done better or different? How large will we eventually become? What do we have to do to achieve this? And how can we perpetuate what has been achieved? This policy plan contains the activities of the foundation and the policy for the coming years.

AUDIT COMMITTEE

As the Stichting Ushersyndroom is a small foundation, it is not necessary to have the annual accounts audited and undersigned by an external auditor. Still, the Board has assigned an audit committee to audit the annual accounts for us. This audit is done in accordance with the legal rules before 1 July of the next year.

The audit committee consists of:
Ron Nagtzaam
Maarten Paling

ANBI FORM

The Stichting Ushersyndroom has been designated by the Tax Authorities as an ANBI. With the form we provide insight into the objectives, activities, the main features of the current policy plan and the composition of the board. This benefits the transparency and accountability of our organization within the non-profit sector.

CBF RECOGNITION PASSPORT

The foundation has been designated by the Central Bureau for Fundraising (CBF) as a recognized charity. This means that we meet strict quality requirements.
